This year my son and I participated in our first swap. The Mommy Holly Christmas Children's Book Swap. We had so much fun shopping for the swap, wrapping everything up and sending it out.
Here is a photo of the box we sent out.

Our swap box arrived shortly after the one we sent out. Rowan was so excited to open everything. The first thing he spotted was a stuffed gingerbread boy. Hhmmmm... could that be a clue?

Oh! The first thing opened. Blue stiry things.

Wow, the new candy land game! We were just checking it out at the store.

Rowan loves to read. A new book for bedtime.

The loot on display! A gingerbread themed bounty. Thanks swap partners for making this so fun for all of us.

Hi Ryan,
I placed an etsy order and received the tarts today, they are so fragrant and wonderful! I have a question, I took them out of their cellophane wrappers and put them all in a bowl to make my kitchen smell good even when they aren't melted in my burner, will this effect the amount of fragrance to leave them exposed like that?? I have no blog, you can answer here, I would love that!
Thanks, Sue
What a great idea!!! for kids to have some fun too.
I'll send my hawk over to visit you
smiles, Deena
Sue - thanks for the compliments! Leaving the tarts out of their wrappers will dissipate the scent, however burning the tarts will make the scent disperse faster. You will enjoy them longer by leaving them out on the counter.
