Back From Our Walk... Look What We Found

Hey Everyone - We're back from the walk with no baby news. Can't you tell I'm going stir crazy? I've posted more in the last few hours than I have all month!

I had to check on a craft/candle setup we have at one of our local flower shops and pick up some things that were sold. To get things moving along my wife decided to go with and we decided to walk. While at the flower shop I saw these neat MINI African Violets! Aren't they cool!?! I haven't seen ones this small before. I picked up 3 to add to our violet collection above our kitchen sink. We've had good luck with these in the past and have acquired a good size collection. I've even had to install a wider shelf over the sink to hold them all. Ack!

We also saw this one with pink variegated leaves. Haven't seen that before either. That had to come home with us as well!

We'll keep you posted on the baby developments!

  2. Still to cold and nasty to be walking outside here in MN....Sure wish I could...I love violets and have my window in the bathroom filled with them....They love that east sun...
You know my last baby was due the 14th of February and we will celebrate her 43rd birthday the 25th of March...They just come when they are ready and not a day sooner...As long as they are healthy is all that matters...

  3. Hi Ryan..I received my Valentine's tags and soy tart today:) They ALL smelled so yummy! Thank you again for hosting the giveaway and choosing me as a runner-up - your generosity was so nice!

Bless your wife's heart...I know about that waiting all too well! My son will be 6 months on the 16th. He actually came 4 days early, but I had false labor for nearly a month! That waiting is no fun, but its all worth it in the end:)

  4. Sue is right - none of our three came when the doctor expected them! You just have to wait until they are ready to make your acquaintance!! Hang in there....praying here for a trouble-free delivery and a healthy mom and baby!! Congratulations! (and tell those ebayers they can just wait!)

  5. I'm a big fan of african violets--never saw the pink variegated leaves though.
