How Do You Organize Your Coupons?

This is my method...

I use a 3 ring binder filled with baseball card sleeves. Everything is sectioned off by type of product. The coupons with the nearest expiration date go in front. Everything is handy and I can easily see what coupons I have. This thing goes with me everywhere.

My wife is so embarrased to go shopping with me. It takes me hours to get through a store because I check all the prices to look for freebies and SCREAMING deals.

  1. Heck, I would love it if my husband even stepped foot in the grocery store. Then to clip coupons, that is just wonderful!

  2. I have been planning to get a binder like this!

I laughed about your wife being embarrassed to shop with you, poor lady. Her husband helping to save money and all. ;)

What are some of her hobbies? What does she enjoy when she's not tending to the kiddos?

  3. You are a wonder. Not only do you quilt, you also are into saving money. Quite a talented guy.

  4. I haven't gone binder intense yet, but maybe someday I will. So far mine are all in a normal coupon file folder. I plan out my weekly trips into their own color coded envelopes and put my list and all Q's into the corresponding envie... walgreens, cvs, target, walmart, tops, price chopper... works for me for now.

Do you order Q's online? www.thecouponclippers.com is great! also www.wickedcooldeals.blogspot.com is a good site to follow - each week she posts price chopper's deals/coupon matchups.

  5. You should visit Joan @ shelbystitcher.blogspot.com I have known her for around 7 years (even got to meet her in person once!) She is a great coupon-er. I think she signed up for that grocerygame.com I did that for a little while, but I don't have the time to shop like that! She scores good deals like you too. I think I have her blog linked from mine.
