Two Options for the 30s Geese

Here are the 2 layouts I'm thinking of using the 30's geese strips in. I decided to use all my 4 patches to make the Bricks and Stepping Stones quilt.

Here is option number one: I have some scotties and cats fused to neutral background blocks I can alternate, or...

Option number 2: I can make an all geese wall hanging.

What do you think?

I am torn. At first impulse I preferred the first one. But then I think maybe the all geese pattern. I am no help! lol
I guess I'm saying you can't go wrong no matter which one you choose. =)

Hey what did you mean when you said, "Send them off to the quilter", in your previous post?

Love the first one - it really characterful! You will have geese strips left over too to make another quilt!

I love the second pic with all the geese. The colours look great!
Best wishes,

I dunno Ryan... I really like the character in that first one. That one gets my vote for sure!

I love them both but my own preference is the all geese wall hanging. Was hard to chose and of course, you must do what you feel rather than what we say.

My vote is for ALL geese. I'm a traditionalist. The puppies are very cute, though.

I think I like the second one better. They are both pretty cute though.

I like both layouts .... but those scotties give it a special touch.

All geese - that's my vote. Like the table runner down below.

If it is for a child's room, then the animals. If not, then just the geese.

Me again - why not make a border with the dogs and cats and put just geese in the center? Let us know what you decide

I'm partial to the 2nd one with just the geese ~ more of a classic layout. But hey, it's your quilt and YOU must love it! Your points look perfect. Hubby used to help me in the quilting studio when I first started. He lost interest pretty quickly tho! LOL!

Warm regards,

Mary

They're both lovely, but I think I like the second one best. I have a thing for flying geese! LOL

I vote for the second one. With one slight modification. You could alternate the direction of the geese.
