More String Blocks { 2 More to go! }

Boy must I be feeling ambitious tonight. I managed to whip up 4 more blocks after dinner for my second Swap-Bot partner. I tried to select like colored fabrics for each block this time to change it up a little. I think I like these blocks better than my first ones. Only 2 more blocks to go and I'm already thinking of ordering another honey bun to make some for myself.

Happy quilting,

  6. Great job. Have you ever posted a pix of you sewing? I'd like to see one if or find the one you did post. I've only see one man sew and I thought it was so great. My husband can do cross stitch. His mother made him several things and he wanted to have a first hand appreciation of her efforts. His came out great.

  8. Those blocks are great! I'm so wanting to do a string quilt but have way too much on my plate. Maybe after April (the birth of my first grandchild!).

  15. Hi, I reached your blog from The Fabric Shopper. Wow, I just made 3 "matching" aprons from the orange colorway of Fresh by Deb Strain... one each for my daughter, her 2 1/2 yr old, and her 6 mo daughters. Too cute. I mixed in some Heather Bailey, too! I just love your blog. Thanks!

  16. Your blocks turned out great! Quick question: what kind of Kenmore machine do you use? I'm in the market for a new machine (I'm just learning to quilt) and I'd like to find a good machine. Thanks so much for your help!
