I've been toying with the idea of uploading designs from my kids to use in my projects. I tried to make that happen this morning, but it was a challenge to get my son to sit still for a few minutes and draw. I think I need to approach the project a little differently. So, for now, I sat down with his markers and came up with a few designs for Valentine's day. I ordered swatches of the fabric and can't wait to get them.
Here's what I came up with. I call it Very Valentine:

I also came up with some abstract images. I call this set Doodles:

Hi Ryan,
these look really cool - I know if I had drawn them, they'd look like boring spirals and envelopes etc, but here on your website, and drawn by someone other than me, the designs look totally professional. I'm going to check out spoonflower now - thanks!
Cheers,
Christine
Looks like you have a talent for designing fabric....they all are wonderful!!
Great designs. I especially love the aqua and red spiral doodles, and the red and blue pin dots in the very valentine. Yum!
Looks very cool!
Those are fantastic! I love them!
Oh, I didn't know this existed. Gonna have to check it out...
I like the envelopes.
Very cool designs.
Yeah for Spoonflower - <3 your new blog follower :)
I like those, especially the first one!
i love the envelopes...they would look so great with some of my text fabrics. spoonflower is amazing!
Hi, I popped over from Quilt Dad, and I love your designs! I am a 'follow the pattern' type, so designing is not something that intrigues me, but your doodles are very appealing!
Those totally rock and roll!!
no, really!
Love the 3rd one down. Reminds me of Bumblebeans's Waverunner quilt.
