Sunday Stash #5

I've been very lax in my Sunday Stash participation lately. Bad Ryan! Too many projects to get finished and not enough time to dish about all the awesomeness arriving via my best friend the post lady. I *heart* the USPS!

Here's what arrived this week ...

A few prints from Joel Dewberry's home dec line Ginseng. I found these on etsy in Dana's shop. They were on sale!

I've been wanting to make some of THESE bags to take to market in the fall to hold my sample spree loot. I'm thinking of mixing and matching the Ginseng with some of Denyse Schmidt's County Fair line. We'll see how it goes.

If I'm ambitious enough, I'll also take a few to give to friends.

I also picked up some of Lauren and Jessi Jung's Botany because it was on sale at the Fat Quarter Shop. Thanks Kim! My bud John and I both think this line has an Anthropologie feel. I think a few Bundles of Joy quilts are in order! ;)

As you can see, I didn't break the bank this week with my purchases. I can always make up for it next week!

HUGE Giveaway announcement next Thursday!

Have a great week,

  1. Hi Ryan,
I love the Botany Line and I have some too. I can't wait to see what you do with yours....I've not decided what to do with mine yet.

  2. Sometimes life gets in the way of our good intentions, but thats okay. We forgive you (after all we're all eagerly awaiting your giveaway announcement. I really like the fabrics you've collected. I'm off now to get me some as well.

  3. I was accidentally stumbling around on the internet as one does and stumbled across a giveaway from last year which I thought was from this year but which mentioned your birthday being 14 July which, in the UK, is today so happy birthday to you, 21 again like me?

  4. I really love the Joel Dewberry's. Nice :D.

  5. Wow! Those are some gorgeous fabrics!!
There is a new little page on my blog titled "bartering" and wanted to extend the invitation. :o) I am looking to trade fabric scraps for quality handcrafted jewelry. :o)
    Sincerely ~ Tricia
