Sunday Stash #6

This week I had a little more fabric arriving due to some upcoming projects I have planned. But first, here are my "just because" purchases. I found some Lush and Amy Butler prints for a steal on eBay and I just had to pounce on them.

One of my new favorite colors right now is bright lime green. It's very fresh and fun. Reminds me of summer. I love those lime AB dots!

Quilting bud Terri, of Sew Fantastic was destashing a little American Jane Pez so I told her to send some my way! Thanks Terri! These lovlies will go in my American Jane "Vault" for now. Only to be used for super special projects. Gotta make 'em last!

Several yards of Kona cotton were ordered. I bought at least 3 different prints in similar colors for an idea I have in my head. I'll make 4 mini quilts in the same pattern, using a monochromatic color scheme. One in Violet, one in Lime, one in Tangerine, and one in Pomegranate.

I also ordered some Kona solids to go along with the fabrics I narrowed down for my DQS9 partner. I've decided to go with Joel Dewberry's Modern Meadow mixed with a little of Denyse Schmidt's Hope Valley. The solids you see at the bottom from left to right are, Bahama Blue, Sable and Zucchini.

Next week will probably be a little easier on the wallet as I'll be getting to work on my planned projects. I won't make any promises though! ;)

Happy quilting,
