{ Sunday Stash #11 }

Despite the mountains of fabric I picked up at Sample Spree that I showed you last week, the mailman kept arriving with more. I tell you, I just don't know how this stuff finds me. I don't have a fabric hoarding problem, do I? I need to remind myself never to ask my wife that question because I probably already know the answer. After all, she doesn't have a room entirely devoted to shoes. :)

The Sprout colorway of Parisville finally arrived and my fat quarter collection is complete. I found the Pomegranate and Mist bundles at Hawthorne Threads and the Sprout bundle at Fat Quarter Shop.

I can't help but think how good it would look mixed in with prints from AMH's new line Innocent Crush. Not bad, right?

Monaluna also has a new line out called Sew Happy. This one looks like it could be fun to play with. I purchased mine from blog sponsor, Hawthorne Threads.

My favorite print has to be the safety pins. The two versions on the end are the perfect shade of red and aqua.

It's A Hoot by Momo is now in stores and includes some nice prints that might serve as permanent additions to my stash. I managed to track down a fat quarter bundle of everything but the grey prints. They came from another sponsor, Fabric Shoppe.

These are the two prints in particular I need to get more of. I can see myself using them for lots of future projects.

Also arriving from Fabric Shoppe are some yards from Momo's Freebird and Patty Young's Flora and Fauna. These collections are disappearing fast. Especially the Moda because they seldom do reprints.

I received some additional Moda yardage of Bliss by Bonnie & Camille for an upcoming Patchwork Squared project. Look for this new pattern coming out around the end of January 2011.

And finally, Alexander Henry has a new line out called June Bug. I thought it odd that they were releasing such a Summery print this time of year, but I found a few prints from the collection I like.

The bird prints especially would be fun to fussy cut. I got them from Hawthorne Threads.

I have no idea what I'm going to make with most of the prints that came in this week, already have patterns going for some.

Look for a new tutorial next week for some fast gift bags you can make in one sitting. Get your holiday fabric ready! You'll want to make lots for all your friends and family.

The giveaway for a fat eighth bundle of Central Park by Kate Spain ends on Friday, November, 26. There's still plenty of time to enter it HERE.

Never miss a post! Sign up here to have posts emailed to you as soon as they are published.

Have a wonderful Sunday,

  2. Wow-you done good! I'm drooling at all the color-even if I do have some of it myself!
I'm used to Sunday Stash coming in on Saturday from down under, but first time I've gotten a US Sunday post before Saturday dinner! Makes me feel really behind out here in the middle of the Pacific!

  6. I see we have similar tastes. I too like the ovals and the "trees" from the It's a Hoot collection, I just made a jellyroll baby quilt from it. I just finished quilting it today but you can see the top here if you're interested.

I also like the June bug prints you chose. But I have a question - just where do you store all this? And how do you remember what you have?
    lol
