Sewing with Organic Fabrics | Cloud 9 Pillows

Cloud 9 Organic Pillows

Happy Saturday everyone! I took the opportunity today to finish up some small pillows I started working on last week. My wife went strawberry picking this morning with her sister and kids in tow.

I really took to the Cloud 9 Nature walk fabrics when I saw them at Fall 2010 Quilt Market in Houston and came across these pillows by Karen listed for sale in her etsy shop a few weeks ago.

I already had these fabrics in my stash so I decided to make some rather than purchase them. With Karen's blessing, of course!

The bright aqua backgrounds and deep reds and limes that Michelle used in this all organic line are stunning. Paired with a few prints from her previous lines, I threw together these 4 small pillows. The fabrics are so soft!

I think I know 2 little boys who will be snatching these up pretty quick!

You know I had to make a Sprocket Pillow with some of the leftovers! Allison's pattern is a new favorite for me!

You can find Cloud 9 fabrics in the following sponsor shops: Hawthorne Threads, Fabric Worm, So Fun Fabrics, & Lola Pink Fabrics.

Don't forget there's a new Fat Quarter Shop Friday post up featuring Heather Mulder Peterson's Artful Home.

Enter the giveaway for a half yard bundle by leaving a comment on THIS post!

I gotta get working on more of those cute round pillows. They are disappearing just as fast as I make them! ;)

Hope you all had a crafty Saturday as well. What were you working on?

I adore that sprocket pillow too! Still working on my very first quilt, just a lap but a big enough project for a beginner!
