I'm also taking the opportunity to go through some drawers and bins in the studio, pulling out MORE UFOs to finish. I'm determined to try and tackle most of them. With these and others from a previous post, I've got my work cut out for me. We'll see. :)
Have you all seen the awesome Jen Kingwell patterns? I think I picked up most of them. Can't wait to start sewing with fabrics from my scrap bins. AFTER I finish up some UFOs, of course. ;)
I had a hard time resisting all the new lines that were released this month. Can you say FABRIC HOARDER? How did you all make out? I like to think of my fabric purchases as an investment. As long as the fabric is cared for, it shouldn't go down in value. Most times it only goes up in value when it goes out of print. Of course, you have to be willing to part with it to get your money back...
I decided on the next embroidery in my tribute to British comedy series. Any one recognize this character? I should be able to stitch this out in a few nights while watching TV.
You know who HASN'T been really productive in the studio?
I guess I should feel good about all my progress with this lazy guy around.
Hope you all have a great weekend! Think FALL thoughts!! Warm coffee, snuggly quilts, a nice good book...
